Posting to see if there are any local bee keeping experts who can assist with removing a bee 'swarm' forming in our brick vent, in a humane manner.

Have sent you the details of a brilliant local bee keeping expert via PM. Had a similar situation a couple of months ago - and he was brilliant. If the queen is still with them it's relatively straightforward to move them. If the queen is lost then they will simply disperse within a couple of days. He will know for sure.
