There is also an additional mobile testing centre operating from Deal Porter Square, 21 Surrey Quays Rd, Rotherhithe, SE16 7AR. These test sites are for people who have symptoms of COVID-19 or who have been advised to take a PCR test, for example people who have been exposed to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19. These tests should be booked through the national Test and Trace system at https://www.gov.uk/get-coronavirus-test or by calling 119 (7am-11pm). COVID-19 rapid testing (for people who do not have symptoms)There are two rapid (lateral flow) testing centres in Southwark: at the council building on Bournemouth Road, Peckham, and at London Bridge station (St Thomas street entrance). Residents can also collect tests from local libraries or order tests to be delivered to their homes. Key workers can also get tested at some local pharmacies. A mobile testing van is also operating in the borough. People who leave home regularly are encouraged to get tested up to twice a week ? even if you?ve been vaccinated. Tests are free and can be booked here: https://southwark.bookingv.co.uk/, although walk-in tests are usually available. Support for those having to self-isolateResidents may be able to apply for financial help if they have been told to self-isolate by NHS Test and Trace.
