A further recommendation for Jack Hart.

I had previously used Jack to re-plaster a damp and uneven wall in our dining room. His quote was very fair and he did a great job. I was so impressed with the quality and finish of the work, so when some recent external decoration work revealed problems with the render, I called Jack in to investigate and he clearly explained which areas needed replacing and which could be saved - in order to keep the costs down. He is honest, friendly and trustworthy. He managed to fit the job in quickly and returned with his team to do the works within a few days so as not to delay my decorators. Again I?m extremely pleased with what?s been done, and everything left clean and tidy afterwards. Thanks again Jack !!

I have no hesitations in giving him a five star recommendation!!

Jack has just completed a damp proofing course for us, and re done some plastering where we had a leak. Him and his team were great, really efficient and quick, plus they were more competitively priced then others. Would defo recommend and use again.

Another recommendation for Jack and his team, he gave us great advice on replacement render to one of our external walls, and carried out the work quickly and to a high standard. They?re a friendly team and very easy to deal with. We would definitely use J H Plastering again.

I just want to praise Jack and his team who have just finished work on a Victorian house with massive damp problems. He quickly identified the root cause of the different damp problems and came up with an efficient plan of action. And because he has a whole team that work with him he was able to complete the job quickly and therefore with less disruption. The price was fair and the cleaning up afterwards was exemplary.

I'd like to recommend Jack and his team for any building projects.

They specialise in damp proofing and recently tanked my very damp cellar so it is now fully waterproofed with a new concrete floor and fully membraned and plastered walls and ceiling.

The team worked tirelessly and without complaint despite it being the hottest week of the year carrying two tonnes of concrete into the basement.

They were all friendly, courteous, considerate and a pleasure to have around.

Jack was always super helpful, so friendly and easy to deal with.

The added bonus is that their prices are incredibly competitive.

I will definitely be using them for any future projects.

      Something doesn't quite smell right here and probably it's not  the chicken. Both the OP and TheWeekEnd specifically mention  chicken thigh fillets. TWE purchased £14 worth of chicken thigh fillets and they were thrown away "probably for the third time". £14 equates to around 12 fillets which is a lot. Could some have been frozen after purchase and then thawed? And thawed properly before cooking? TWE has a total of 4 posts of which 3 are on this thread.

      In March Oli and his team did an excellent job of the following work at a property I manage.  1. Completely removing existing broken front path. Covering and securing the void (coal shute) beneath using concrete lintels, waterproof membrane and concrete. Laying a compacted sub-base and new clay pavers. 2. Removing broken fence. Securely installing 6 fence posts and 5 fence panels across the end of the back garden. Base of posts wrapped in plastic  sheath and set in post mix. 3. Removing broken render from terrace steps and cleaning then re-rendering steps where needed and repairing other parts.  4. Jet washing rear patio. I would like to thoroughly recommend him to you for a job done very well at a fair price.
