Wanted : 12 Fire Bricks or old Storage Heater Bricks

As per subject title i'm looking for 12 heat resistant fire bricks or bricks from old storage heaters to build a dustbin tandoor oven. Have tried all builders merchants etc without success and delivery from further afield is disproportionately expensive as I only need a small quantity.

Ok so don't worry about using fire bricks just use clay building bricks with cement and vermiculite.

will work fine for you are using it for and will cheaper and easier to source.

Would recommend doubling up on the terracotta pots, one to fit inside the other and some ceramic blanket would really help insensate it all.
