Oh giggirl...

Please no blood letting, it's really messy

Remember "they" stoned poor ol'St Valentine to death

Think of it more as a "Hallmark Cards" cash bonanza day

Stay focused on that

Just got this really good advice from a computing newsletter.

"If you have a carbon-based loved one in your life, might I suggest that you turn off the computer for the day and spend it with them. Or else set up a lan network in your house so the two of you can chat via instant messenger."

Aside from most bars/restaurants being packed out with smug couples... no.

When one of my good pals was still single, we did on occasion go out on Valentine's Day, dressed to the nines, with deliberately overtly sexy outfits to a restaurant that was otherwise packed with couples - just to see how many arguments were caused when men's eyes strayed to the table of girls with lots of cleavage or leg that looked like they were having a ball. >:D<

me too!!

And Giggirl...every Sunday in ED feels like that LOL....:))

You could always go out and celebrate Chinese New Year instead or treat it like any other day as said above. Erm....yes there's always the rugby .....:-S

Even when I was in a relationship we never "celebrated" Valentine's day in a big way but it is nice to get surprise choccies and do something fun together too.

Hope you have fun whatever you decide xx
