Water Pressure - Pellatt Road

Hi, Just moved into Pellatt Road. Currently we don't have water supplied to upstairs of our house or an outside tap (due to works) so can't test the water pressure. We've just bought a new shower which requires 2 bar pressure. Does anyone on the street know what their water bar pressure is? Worried that we won't have enough pressure for this type of shower in which case i need to return it and get a different one asap.

Can your plumber or Thames Water not help with this?

London water pressure should be 1 bar (a bar is the pressure required to lift water by 10 metres). Your shower is probably set to take up to 2 bars, rather than requiring that pressure. 2 bars is an expected pressure from a normal domestic power shower pump.
