**Recommended nanny available**

We are sadly having to say goodbye to our children's lovely nanny after nearly 3 years as I am now on maternity leave and may not be returning to work. She will therefore be looking for a new role for 3-4 days a week from late April (although may be able to make this earlier).

Our children (6 year old son, 3 year old daughter and 4 month old baby) absolutely adore her. She is very caring, extremely reliable and responsible and has 21 years experience in childcare, 8 years as a nanny. Her current role is 4 days a week (Monday to Thursday) from 7am until 5pm and has included:

*school/pre-school runs (currently at two separate sites, a mile apart)

*attending local baby/toddler groups and classes with my daughter when she was younger (11 months when she started)

*providing suitable activities for the children when not at school/pre-school/classes (including arts and crafts, role play, educational play, trips out (both local and to central London for museums etc), play dates)

*assisting with my son's homework/reading when required (English is first language)

*getting children dressed and ready in the morning, providing all meals when not at school, keeping play areas and bedrooms tidy and welcoming and undertaking children's laundry

*keeping a daily diary of the children's activities

We are based in Herne Hill and a position in Herne Hill or Dulwich area would be ideal. Unfortunately our nanny cannot do Fridays and also cannot work with a family with a cat as she is allergic to them.

Please PM me if you are interested or contact our nanny direct on [email protected]. Am very happy to discuss any queries.

    • Where to begin? I'm middle class and am quite happy for them to be used for information about voluntary/not for profit/non commercial events, they should not be used as a means of free advertising for businesses, small or otherwise, they are just not large enough.  Commjnity groups do not have the money to advertise to increase awareness of the services they offer. The examples you have given which you would like to see them used for may reflect your own priorities but the community of East Dulwich reflects a much wider range of interests and requirements. The  notice boards were introduced in 2011 when East Dulwich had already gentrified and their purpose discussed in the EDF thread announcing their arrival.
    • The notice boards are a reasonable size, surely there should be room for both types of leaflets, after all we are meant to be a community? Unless space is extremely limited, it feels a little divisive for a councillor to say private businesses cannot post. All businesses are important for the lifeblood of a community too, aren't they?
    • Hilarious. Yes, they have magic wands and can make the last 14yrs of public asset stripping disappear overnight 🙄
    • Hi if anyone has one pm me cheers
