Sash Windows - Recommendation

Hello Sam,

Do you have sash windows currently? If so are they beyond economic repair? If you have sash windows currently they could be saved maybe, refurbished, draught proofed and fitted with krypton filled slim double glazed units. It's also nice to preserve old well seasoned timber which has stood the test of time.

If you don't currently have sash windows or they're in a really bad state then new windows would be the route to go down. Accoya is a fairly new timber and much better than hardwoods in my opinion. Check out a you tube video regarding this wonderful new timber.

The guys at Envirosash can help you with any more info you might require.

Thank you,

    • Apart from being yet another eyesore in our lovely park the track is going to be 5 metres wide, that’s wider than my living room! By the time this is installed it will be too late for people to object. This must be rethought, even more of our park is being given over to GALA. The council didn’t factor in HGV access when they planned the flood alleviation works and now they expect park goers to suffer further. Complaints might help, worth a try but needs to be before the consultation ends on Feb 10th
    • It is absolutely real, I walked past the site, complete with car and trashed wall, at about 2pm this afternoon.
    • Oh ok, I'm even more confused now then. Have you seen the discussion on the dangerous driving thread?
    • Sue - I promise you that was no fake photo, not sure that I'm even capable to that.  I took the picture about 12:15 today.
