Just a heads up that there will be road resurfacing work from the Grove Tavern up to Honor Oak Road for six weeks from 14 March.

They are only working evenings 9pm to 5am, Sundays to Thursdays, but there will be temporary lights and given how bad traffic can get heading that way, it may be worth avoiding. Also they will be closing off various side road access including Underhill Road "as and when required".

The South Circular routes are both backed up severely from pretty much as soon as temp lights go in. The Plough approach isn't quite so bad. You can't even jump on 363 to avoid since it is diverted up Barry Road and through the temp lights. They do seem to be laying the new Tarmac fairly quickly though so keeping fingers crossed that it might not take full 6 weeks
