The issue isn't on strike days however, it's every single day

unless drivers are messing around ?

TfL would have seen at least an improvement to late evening and Sunday services, with staff at each station until the last train as seen at Forest Hill and Honor Oak Park with integrated fares for example between East Dulwich and the tube without the penalty for changing at London Bridge.

Instead we're left with the farcical situation of Southern staying with the infamous GTR who have no incentive to improve services or improve staff relations as they do the dirty work of the government.

Not a silly question DaveR. I get on at Denmark Hill but same line (usually any time between 0845 and 0945). Yesterday, everything was late and today mostly on time. I was struck today by how it felt like the first time for ages that a train had been on time in the morning. I'm sure it will be back to normal tomorrow (i.e. a combination of lateness/cancellations/four coach trains.)

It's the last day today, if you use the Catford loop (from Nunhead, Peckham Rye, Denmark Hill, via Blackfriars) please add your name to the consultation, this is for the long term timetabling from 2018:

Chris Grayling should resign over this. He hasn't

even acknowledged it just quoted as being embarrassed..

    • We live on Adys (just round the corner). The area is safe and we’re happy for our child to walk around by themselves. There are occasional phone snatchings outside East Dulwich Station but I don’t think it’s massively different from most of London.    The Gowlett is pretty tame, there are tables outside so there will be some noise of course. We have friends on Gowlett and they’ve never complained about the noise. I seem to recall that a couple moved in to the road and made life pretty difficult for The Gowlett for a while over noise, if you hunt around you should find the thread.  I guess it’s whether you’re looking at a house straight across the road from the pub or further down the street but overall it’s a nice area, convenient for transport and the schools are decent.  Good luck.
    • Fortunately it's school holidays. Depending what time of day it happened there could have been lots of children around.
    • It’s terrifying thinking how many people are usually walking along that pavement to school. Really hope no one was hurt.
    • 😮😮😮 I hope nobody was hurt?
