A duck curry served in a plastic Disney 'Donald Duck' kids bowl.

A street food van that serves its food on the street, literally. A Venezuelan braised goat & aubergine wrap chucked on the pavement and you have to ironically get down on the hands and knees to enjoy.

Louisa.

Jeremy, the best thing about a Beefeater is the voucher codes option (similar to pizza express). They often provide 25/30% off food bill codes online, can make it quite affordable. And they do a value daytime menu with a few courses for under a tenner etc. But overall I agree, it's not amazing.

So Noak closed for about a month, and has now just reopened as a brunch place with Aussie influences. Anyone tried the new version?

😂 You also get a discretionary service charge of 10% added to your bill, according to the new menu on Instagram account.

Personal opinion, style over substance, trying too hard with the food. It tastes good, but it feels like someone really wants people to know how clever they are in the kitchen. Not for me. But then each to their own.

Having initially been unsure, I came to like the previous incarnation. This new one is expensive and flashy, and will probably do very well in the gentrification of Brockley.

The owner is completely bonkers, so I hope she's learned from the mass walk-out of her previous staff.

When I was in Melbourne earlier year I actually passed this place and yes, there they were, the 3 beakers of DIY coffee. What a faff.

    • Why do you say "that hasn't and won't happen"? - It has not happened and I do not believe it will. Why do you not ask for a key, if you would "love this task"?  I have requested a key but have not had any reply to my email. Who would you suggest I ask? She still works locally. If you don't know her, I can ask her how you can get a key - Please do. Thanks. There is no reason why the noticeboard should only contain councillors' details (although surely it is important that those are publicised locally?) Why do you say it will contain nothing more? Because it does not contain anything more - see noticeboard (has been there quite a few months now!). Do you know why the notice board has been removed from outside ED station? No sadly I don't - poss during pavement works?
