Verbal and non-verbal reasoning Test Club

Test Club Tutors

Recommended Posts

For children thinking about preparing for secondary school admissions tests - Test Club East Dulwich will meet Summer and Autumn terms 2016. (There is another Test Club in Furzedown.)

At Test Club, we tutor a group of 4 children (maximum) for an hour each week using Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning practice materials and practice papers. We are experienced tutors and qualified specialist teachers with full DBS clearance.

We find the Test Club model to be motivating and supportive for students. By teaching question strategy and exam technique in small groups we find the students? confidence increases. In the Autumn term, we also offer a mock exam which includes both VR and NVR papers in one timed sitting, which is a very useful ?trial run?.

We understand many parents prefer to prepare their child themselves, or not at all, for school entrance tests. We simply set up Test Club initially to respond to requests from parents at the schools we teach at and it has developed from there.

Good Morning

I am interested in test club for my 8 year old daughter who is currently in Y4.

She doesn't have as much confidence in English compared to other subjects such as Maths. Are

you able to provide further information on the programme.

We live in Gipsy Hill and could travel to East Dulwich.

Please can you advise when the classes take place, times and the fee?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best wishes

Leesa

    • All good to hear. Cheers BNG If I’m honest, those fliers give off very bland corporate energy   also. Shouldn’t it be a relaunch party instead of a launch party?    hopefully I’m wrong and it’s great
    • The good news is that the Blythe's new leaseholder is Austin Whelan, who runs a chain of very decent Irish pubs, mainly in south London. By all accounts, he has no intention of making any major changes. It reopened last week.
    • A builder said that to me once! What I should have said (but thought of it too late) was that given that I was paying him to do a job, I expected that my glass would be full, not half full 🤣 But yes, you are right in this instance!
    • Just had a flyer through the door. Posting here for people who haven't had theirs yet. The 50% off food is for three days only, and advance bookings only. I liked the EDT as it used to be, so I really hope the changes won't be too massive. Last time I looked through the window the bar seemed to be still in the same place, but who knows. Think I'll wait a bit to try the food. When The Lordship launched, we went for a meal there and let's say things didn't go smoothly 😂 Anybody who was there will know what I mean 😂 They have redeemed themselves since, I hasten to add 😂
