Fusion leisure centres contract not renewed by Southwark

I have an issue with the new policy of only being able to pay for swimming lessons by direct debit. Being encouraged to is understandable but being forced to seem really unfair and discriminatory. As this is a council run pool the lessons should be available to anyone not just those who are comfortable with DD.

What about those who don't have a bank account or who are close to their limit each month and prefer to just pay in a lump sum when they know they have the money?
