That's great news as I've always enjoyed the food, ambience and great service of their other restaurant Lorenzo's up at the Palace.

I can confirm they are opening tonight, as I tried to book a table for Monday (unsuccessfully - they close Mondays) earlier. Number is 020 8693 7877 for anyone who needs it.

What's it called though, not something startingly original like Lorenzos 2 is it perchance?

Anyway the name is SI MANGIA da Lorenzo, I hope the food is good ( haven't tried it yet ) because they haven't made a great effort on the interiors especially the lighting on the walls. (tu)

Thanks Batdog, I noticed the thread. Sounds like a rushed job. Hope it's good though, it's just what the area needs and good luck to them.
