Wooden Floor sealing & general renovation

We have a wooden floor in our kitchen diner with gaps between boards and it is generally in not great condition. I would like the gaps sealed and an improvement to surface for a reasonable price. Any recommendations please?

  Let's hope no more of them disappear 😥 I don't know whether geese have a second brood later on? It seems very early in the year for goslings, but I haven't yet googled to find out more.
