Only been to the Vale once or twice and wont be going back! It's a crap pub with a sticky floor hence not having visited that often, to serve you drinks and then ask you to leave is disgusting! Can't believe the attitude of the landlord - I think you should make a complaint to the brewery that own it.

Don't think there are any wine bars in East Dulwich. Are there any left in London? Oh yes, Green and Blue........and I am quite sure they don't allow dogs! I believe most drinking establishments in ED area allow dogs now. My dog is very keen on them. Once we have have visited one, she tries to push the door open again even if we are just passing.

I used to always take my dog to the pub nobody objected, except one day a man came in and stood beside me at the bar he asked if my dog bites I said No, he stroked it and he turned on him, he said I asked you if your dog bites you said No, thats not my dog he is still in the toilet waiting for someone to lift him up to wash his paws, I call him Lifter he will wait next for someone to lift him up to air dry his paws, then put money in the vending machine.

Get your self "dolled up" with a make over & then amazingly "pop" back on "10 years younger"

      We have been patients at Sternhall Lane for years. Our experience has generally been incredibly positive with speedy responses and very helpful staff. We are generally fortunate to get a same day appointment should we really need one either at Sternhall Lane or at Tessa Jowell and any necessary referalls have been swift.

      @Alice if left might have been stolen/taken by someone (peed on by a dog or fox), also there are some little things attached of - I assume - sentimental value. I hope the owner can claim them. Will leave a note indeed with info how to retrieve them, though not with a private phone number in a public space 😅 Maybe a friend of a friend will come across this post on EDF.  @embob97 They do have a ring, sorry.

      My husband goes to the newish one near the Watchpolisher on Lordship Lane.(sorry cant remember name-) I can assure you they're not 'fake'  He started going there because his excellent long-term barber had to rent a chair there when the shop he used to work from in Forest Hill closed. I think one needs to be careful when making statements like that above as it can damage reputable buisnesses. Also I should add the Barbers I mention always seems to be busy
