Hi Admin in the PM I have stated who the company are, not publicly on the forum. I have not said you tarred the company. However if you read the pm you will see what I am trying to ask. From the impression in the answers I have received re my posts and why I am having difficulties posting, it seems, and correct me If I am wrong, that certain words I post are not recognised, because they have been deemed as naughty.I am confused, that is why I have pmd you.

I am cross because of the nature of my posts ie talking about community projects, cannot be projected in the posts, because of "naughty words"

Whilst trying to get to Galway the other day I ran over Ronan O Gara. This means I went via gara, of course when I tried to market the hobby under a new brand name on the forum, admin, evil force for bad that he is, stopped me, even though he didn't know anything about it.

I cannot express how angry I am except to say I am no longer paying my subscription.

Hello. Have emailed Admin a couple of times to ask for a change to my username, having finally understood the potential issues around using my real name online. But no response. Is there anything else I can do, e.g. closing my account and reopening one with a different name? I can't see how to do this.

I have just contacted someone about something for sale on the family classifieds via PM and when i went back to see the original post, it had gone? Then I look for other o=posts from that user and they all seem to have disappeared...

Can you tell why?

Thanks,

Em

Hi binary_star, it was moved out of the ED issues section as it wasn't a ED issue. It was lost in the move, sorry about that but it's back now http://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/forum/read.php?20,739820

embo71, it could be that the person broke the rules and I removed their post(s), fortunately you have contacted them before that happened so hopefully there's no problem.

Good Morning,

I did send a message to Dave as the company we run is All Aspects Plumbing and i live in Rodwell Road off Crystal Palace road.

The difficulty being, that when people try to recommemnd us, they say there posts never appear, now I'm quite happy to send paper work with address details etc but where would this be too.

Could you let me know, where we go from here please.

Regards

Robert Mills

Hi Admin

Problem logging on to EDF.

On computer today I did a disk clean up using standard PC facility.

now I cannot seem to log on, I go through the procedure and screen just goes back to how it was before I entered login details. Weird. No error msg. No confirmation msg.

I want to post some items for sale but can't until this is resolved.

From iPhone I am logged on (daren't log off now though in case I lose access completely), hence I'm writing this.

So, it seems like something up with my connection via PC.

Any suggestions !?

I am non-tech BTW.

Thanks,

KK

    • Went to book a film to find Surrey Quays Odeon is no more. Such a shame, I didn't realise everything was being  shut there. Used to love a bit of bowling at the Hollywood Bowl too. https://southwarknews.co.uk/area/rotherhithe/surrey-quays-odeon-cinema-confirms-august-closure-date/
    • Thanks for the link! I should have thought to add that. If you click on "artists" in the menu, there is information about the artists, but it's very difficult to relate it to the map when you can't print off the map (at least I haven't been able to, but I've only tried from my phone so far).
    • Do you mean the small charity shop on Lordship Lane just before you get to the roundabout? Near the pharmacist? Can't remember what it's called. The Mind Shop is the one on the corner after  you have crossed  the road to go to the station, and I'm pretty sure the jeweller/watch repairer wasn't there - it was actually on Lordship Lane, at the roundabout end though. Crikey, I had forgotten about the video shop. The stationers was a strange place, but they sold art stuff as well which was sometimes useful. Then some time later there was that large place - ED Deli? - next to the EDT, which had very yummy Florentines, but seemed to go into a gradual decline until it eventually closed. If it had opened a bit later it might have survived, but probably gentrification wasn't sufficiently advanced at that point. Platform 1 was for a series of pop up restaurants, wasn't it? Or at least, a restaurant with a series of pop up chefs. I don't recall it ever being a cocktail bar? And they were originally going to call it a very rude name ( which sadly I can't remember,  but I think it may have been Pussy Liquor  - I don't think they were cat owners) and there was a whole thread on here where various people pointed out that it wasn't a very appropriate name, so they changed it 🤣🤣🤣 I think someone must have thought it was hilarious because I think Meat Liquor had just opened down the road ...  For a short time there was a very good South Indian vegetarian restaurant, but hardly anybody went to it, and sadly it closed. Again, it might have survived now, it was probably a bit too early in the gentrification process.
    • I don't know any of these people or many places but it is good reading x
