Now I know I'm just asking for trouble in asking this question, and I will confess to trying to seek some inspiration for some work that I was supposed to do at 9am, so that I can go and get dressed and then go and get drunk.

But, are any of you aware of any meat scare stories / urban myths - you know, along the lines of the Kentucky Fried Cyst, or chickens that are born with no heads and just grown for gargantuan breasts?

I think the chickens piled high, pecking each other whilst sat on their own excrement without being able to even turn around is scare story enough (and not an urban myth)

But yeah when the round robin emails about the latest KFC myth ("that's why they changed the name to KFC - cuz there is no chicken in it anymore!!) come round I do roll my eyes

    • Hello, I'm from Ireland and would love my children to be able to know the language - I can speak it but I'm not so good at teaching it. If there's anyone local who used to teach Irish at primary school (preferably Connemara Irish) and who'd like to tutor 3 boys aged 7-10 for an hour or two a week please do let me know. Thanks, Sarah
