FREE 2 day jewellery course weekend 13/14 feb

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, we have another great opportunity here for 2 places on our weekend jewellery course - TEXTILIZE YOUR JEWELLERY!

On the course you will explore ways to combine your favourite textiles - fabric/paper/leather/embroidery - with metal and other hard materials to make very accomplished jewellery. At the end of the weekend you will make a pendant or earrings to your own design.

You must be a southwark resident.

This must be your first course with us (for this year, ie you must not have attended a course at Flux in the 5 months)

You must be able to attend the whole weekend, 10am-5pm sat and sun

Please reply or email me ([email protected]) if you would like to attend.

Please dont ask to come then fail to turn up - we like to give places to people who can use the opportunity well!

best

    • Just heard 250 houses. Substation fault in Lacon Road. Hopefully may be fixed tonight 😭
    • Sorry to hear this - I hope they get the power back on soon for those affected on a night like tonight.
    • Some houses in Ulverscroft Road and I gather Whateley and Fellbrigg have a power cut. Any other roads?
    • Agree and that is due to the echo-chamber nature of social media algorithms. Previously racists and other idiots wouldn't read stuff in traditional media that echoed their warped mindset but now they feel empowered because they think everyone thinks this and can easily reach those that do share the same ideology. Cast your mind back to how Blackberry Messenger was blamed for its role in the London riots back in 2011. We now have that a thousand times worse.
