Guest
A younger colleague saying, when I said it the office was hot, that perhaps it was my age. Redundancy was such a relief when it finally came. Jah Lush
Oh yes Quids. I had to stop playing at 28. Still miss it terribly but I do enjoy the lie-ins. RosieH
I have a mate who's 51 and he's still pretty nifty on the ball down the park every week - reckon you fellas should give it a go - a veterans league perhaps. Then we ladies can come and enjoy the view. Jah Lush
It would take me an age to get fit enough to play now and I'd probably have a heart attack just trying. I'll stick to watching rather than embarrass myself trying to do the things that came easy when I was younger. RosieH
Ooh yes, good call. I put a vest on today. It made me feel terribly sensible and not at all like my teenage self who slept a Feburary night in a draughty Manchester train station dressed in hotpants and t-shirt just so my mum wouldn't know I'd been clubbing. i*Rate
I am 61 and male. I am slim and look after my health and dress quite well. But - one morning on the tube a young bloke offered me his seat and looked at me as if I needed it.Then I realised - I LOOK MY AGE (OR OLDER)! mattham
Realising my beard has more grey in it than Jarvis Cocker's. I'm 34. Admittedly, having a beard isn't really doing me any favours.
