*Furniture* for a quick sale due to moving home.

1) A pair of lovely black gloss wooden 2-drawer bedside tables for sale! ?30 each

Storage storage, storage!! They came from Dwell and they are really good quality (heavy) tables. Some tiny superficial scuffs to the lacquer but overall, good-looking drawers that look 'nearly new'. They can be polished up to get rid of the scuffs but the marks are really tiny. Looking for ?30 each / ?60 for the two.

2) A suedette double bedframe (and good quality mattress if you want it) ? ?65 - SEE PHOTO

Really really comfy to sleep on. Suedette is worn in one corner at foot of the bed. Shabby chic?! Otherwise the bedframe with slatted base is solid and makes a great style statement. ?65 ? mattress thrown in for free.

3) Artwork - ?10 - SEE PHOTO - it's printed onto a hard board so sturdy, chunky and wipeable

5) x 2 Breakfast bar chairs - FOR UPHOLSTERY ONLY - sturdy chrome legs and strong, comfortable. These chairs are very well worn so will need re-covering. ?15 for the pair.

6) Scandinavian style wood (veneer) and glass fronted storage unit - ?40

For satellite / cable box, Blu Ray, DVD players and ample room to stack BluRay and DVD discs. Unit elevated on small brushed aluminium stilts. W:100cm x H:42cm D:58cm

No real signs of wear and tear and it needs a new home. ?40

Happy to have serious buyers look at them by arrangement from this week. Local collection only or can put them on a courier van if buyer sorts out.

I can email photos of each item so do message me.

    • This is just something that is "being considered"! It could be years before it happens, if it ever does! I'm sure there must be many possible options to replace the services presently provided by Crown offices, including introducing more what are now called "sub" post offices (I think) in existing shops and other places. I'm sure there will be many different interest groups (for want of a better term) trying to make sure that groups of people who are likely to be most affected by the closure of Crown offices will have suitable alternative local  provision. Especially given that presumably the existing Crown Offices are based in the areas where there are (or were) the most people to make use of their services, or were at the time they opened.
    • Just like it was 'in the good old days' eh?
    • When I worked in the City there was this great little thing near our office called Post and Go, it was an unmanned, 24/7 unit with machines where you could buy stamps, parcel postage etc.. and drop off parcels.  It was really helpful. Not sure why it was closed. I only really go to the Post Office to post the occasional parcel or international letter so being able to do that without the 1980s Eastern Bloc vibe and modern opening hours was quite good.
    • Soon we will have no money for ourselves,  we will work just to pay bills and for (the governments whoever is in power) mistakes etc
