Alan Medic
I expect The game in NZ will be far more entertaining than the one in SA. I saw some of the Aus v Fra series and there was some very entertaining stuff played there. TheCat
Well....it is a game with some speed (certainly versus the BIL/BOK game last week!)..albeit a lot of errors from both teams early in the game.....we stuck with them for 50mins or so....and our physicality and execution in places is much improved on recent years, and believe it or not my English brethren, the Wallaby scrum is now a weapon, especially with our reserve THP on the park...but overall just not consistent enough against the AB's who just punish any errors or drops in intensity... TheCat
LOL...my apols....in anycase, it was more a reference to the broader English rugby fan...as they are the ones who have absolutely mooshed our scrum into oblivion more than a few times over the past 10-20years.... TheCat
Not that (m)any will care on this forum. But wallabies bossing the bok scrum at the end of both halves earlier today to help squeak a win over the world champs was a thing of joy.I guess rassie will be getting his video equipment prepped.... Alan Medic
Uruguay beat the USA yesterday to qualify for RWC2023. Chile beat Canada and will now face the US. The winner will qualify too. Good to see that the game is improving in South America.Unfortunately for Uruguay, they will be in the same group as France and NZ.Below is the 2nd leg. Uruguay trailed by 3 from the first. TheCat
It's a shame how backwards the game has gone im Canada since the start of professionalism. They were probably on a par with the Pacific island nations 25 years ago. Now they're getting beaten by Chile. As you say thoug Alan, the flip side of that is the development of the game in South America.... Alan Medic
Hee hee. I'm wondering what sort of team will we be able to put out. I don't think I've ever witnessed a match with so many injuries yesterday.
