It's finals day in the Nat West School's Rugby Cup at Twickenham.

Dulwich College entered the competition for the first time 4 seasons ago and have never been beaten. They've won the competition on the three occasions they've entered it and are now in the final (against Bromsgrove) for the fourth year running. It's an extraordinary achievement and is never likely to be bettered in it's modern format.

The game kicks off at 3.40pm and is live (HD) on the link below. It's well worth a watch- the standard of Rugby is very high.

Here are the basics to the prediction game (scroll up to get the details to enter, 4 so far):

The Group matches (40) are divided into 4 rounds of 8, 11, 9 & 12 games.

These follow the order matches will be played.

You can post your predictions anytime prior to a game kicking off for it to be included.

Once you 'lock' your predictions it will allow you to see others predictions.

Once locked you can't change your prediction and if you don't lock it, it will happen automatically when play starts.

Points scoring:

1 point for a correct prediction in the Group stages. This increases to 1.5,2 & 3 points thereafter in the Q/F's to the Final.

0.5 points for getting the margin of victory to within 5 points. Must have winning team unless you predicted a margin of 5 points or less.

In this case you will still win the bonus even if you predicted the wrong result.

1 Bonus point for being the closest to the winning margin in each match. This in theory could be divided if people are equally close.

Grand Slam Point is awarded for getting all the results correct in a given group. This appears to be worth 2 points.

No - scans/results due today.

But can't see how they could make it now - both bad injuries - Webbs was terrible

(people saying two injuries on the same leg).

although ....

The WRU deny that reports in France have come from them and there is no official word on how long Halfpenny is expected to be out of action.

There is also no word on Rhys Webb.

A recent statement from the WRU says: ?Further medical updates regarding the national squad will be made when available

Liam Williams (if he recovers) is pretty good and maybe we'll

call in Mike Phillips.

Rhys Webb has included in a statement "See you in 2016" :(

Actually Phillips called up now.

Just another invitation to play as the KO gets closer. You can post your predictions once you register if you want. Summary of scoring a few posts up. This isn't a Fantasy game in that you don't have to pick players but just a score and result game. Easy to play.

I Fancy doing some bets. Who are we looking at:

England 6.4 with home advantage* looks good value

Whose going to be top tryscoreR?

Which non-obvious country's going to make the quarters?

Thnaks in advance for any thoughts

Looking forward to this tournament alot more than last time (being at 'home' I guess)

    • Last time I was in there, after a 10-minute queue, it took nearly 10 minutes to prepare postage for a large letter to Ireland. Felt like I was in the last century.
    • As a result of the Horizon scandal it now seems very clear that the Post Office management are highly disingenuous and not be trusted!  There needs to be a campaign launched to challenge the threatened closure, unless the Post Office can demonstrate beyond doubt that the branch is loss making - and even then it could argued that better management could address this. I hope the local media take this up and our MP  and a few demonstrations outside wouldn’t do any harm. Bad publicity can be very effective!
    • Unlikely. It would take a little more than a bit of Milton to alter the pH of eighty-odd thousand gallons of water.
    • It actually feels as though what I said is being analytically analysed word by word, almost letter by better. I really don't believe that I should have to explain myself to the level it seems someone wants me to. Clearly someones been watching way too much Big Brother.
