Hi - I am clearing a room and have a perfectly good bed to give away to someone who will come and collect it on Sunday morning. (I live off Lordship Lane in the middle of East Dulwich). It was well used by my children but is in good nick, and the mattresses are still fine.

The bed is on a solid frame, with a standard single mattress on top and a slightly smaller one below, which pulls out and then can be raised up. Very useful for guests or sleepovers by friends!

If you are interested please get in touch asap. Ideally I would like it collected today (Sunday), or latest Monday.

  I think you are talking about the gangs of Bretons that would cycle selling onions and garlic. There is a wonderful museum to 'Johnny Onion's in Roscoff, well worth a visit and you can indulge yourself in Breton music whilst you are at it. Although I thought the French onion sellers died out in the 50s
