Handyman/electrician/builder needed

Hi,

As total novice DIYers we're looking for someone who can help do a few odd jobs (and possibly a couple of larger pieces of work in the future):

Now:

- check the windows in our house and seal with mastic (at least one of them is leaking so we'd like to get this done ASAP.

- install dimmer switches and have the cable on a lamp shortened - fairly basic but would like someone with electrical experience to do this.

- build wardrobes in the bedroom

In the spring:

- seal exterior of newly installed front door and paint the frame and front area of house

- paint the interior of the house.

- demolish existing garden (breaking up concrete, taking out tree stumps where possible etc)

- installing new garden (patio, deck, lighting etc)

Any recommendations / expressions of interest greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Zoe

    • I am sorry to  continue this, but I found your previous  comment about me very personal,  disturbing and upsetting, which was why I responded at length. I'm sorry it bored you. I try to stick to facts. I have investigated. You (and anyone else) can go into the "search" settings on here and  do a search on an author's name. So you can (I presume) find all my posts, including any which were  replying  to you. I can't imagine that they are in greater numbers than my replies to anyone else, but you can see for yourself. I guess you can probably also find examples of what you call my "usual sarcasm". I wasn't aware that l had a tendency to sarcasm, though I do find a lot of things funny.  There is no need to reply to this unless you actually find evidence in support of what you said. Sorry everybody else. I had to get it off my chest as I was lying awake last night worrying about it 😭
