Nanny for maternity cover

Our nanny is pregnant so we are looking for an experienced nanny to cover her maternity leave, starting 1 May 2016.

The hours are Tuesday to Friday, 8am to 6.30pm (42 hours per week), and you would be looking after non-identical twin boys who turn 3 in September 2016.

Rate negotiable depending on experience, qualifications and references.

Ideal candidate should be willing to take the boys to their various activity classes, partake in outings/activities and be willing to stick to routine. English as first language preferably. Light household child-related duties are also expected, eg cooking, laundry, tidying up.

We are currently based near Hither Green, SE13 5QJ, but should be moving to Brockley soon.

We expect the term of employment to be at least 6 months, with the option to extend depending on when/if the maternity leave comes to an end.

Please get in touch if the role sounds appealing!

Please email [email protected] if you would like more information or want to be considered for the role. Thanks for reading!

    • Oh dear. Sadly I had a disappointing meal on Saturday night. I should have read Malumbu's review above before I ordered. I thought I'd have a dosa for a change. Our meal arrived very quickly. However the dosa was more like a thick and very soggy pancake. The filling was fine. The sambar (sp?) was fine. The chutneys were not what I was expecting, and had a consistency more like sauces.  That might be my lack of knowledge of South Indian food, but I would have expected the coconut chutney to at least taste a bit like coconut. I left most of the actual dosa. My OH said his aubergine curry was delicious. I don't know whether the problem was that the dosa got soggy due to being wrapped in foil to be delivered, but tbh it didn't look like it had ever been a thin crispy dosa 😥 as I have always had in the past  at South Indian restaurants.
