The other change of message is because it's the truth. The Forum is for getting into conversation with people about any thing you feel like. I can't help there are pathetic people like you on here that doesnt contribute anything but a negative atitude. Sorry to say but What a sad local person you are....

Many homeless people (rough sleepers) have mental health problems. It's one of the reasons why they end up being homeless. He may be known to mental health services, he may not.

People with certain types of psychiatric conditions can be very frightening for some people as well.

Hard to know what the full story is from the posts above.

Hi Blah blah, yes i know this guy def has some sort of problem. There is nothing else to the story, i walk past him everyday, i don't look at him i don't talk to him, but he keeps being nasty and i draw the line when i have my kids with me.
Rubbish. If anything this man is more vulnerable and more in need of assistance from homeless chsraties, the so caring folf of ED actively looking out for him etc. Not slung in back of a meat wagon, given a kicking andcslung out again. Altruism? Bollocks. Self gratifying hypocritical cherry picking.

If it happens everyday why do you walk past him?

Grok if you think that then he will be at the station at 5 today so you go sort him out with what ever you think he needs, if you don't i don't see you to be any more different to what you say i am. (I will look forward too it by the way, as i don't want to have to bump into the guy every single day)

spider69: What do you mean "Walk past him"... I have to go that way as that is the way to my sons nursery.

This is the EDF at it's worst. The OP was abused by someone that probably has mental health issues, but when you're with your young kids that's your priority, the OP later called the filth, not so that this man could be given a kicking in the back of a meat wagon, which is a typical stupid comment from Grok.

Oh look, the intellectual heavyweight has joined in again with his wrong perceptins straight from his working class dad hips.

Where are the cries of dont report his whereabouts etc when op is even providing times he is there? Dont matter if this chap gets abused or bashed?

Op walks past him everyday but this is first we hear? Does op give filthy down nose looks at chap? Exactly what does op do, we dont know but no one else seems to have a problem with this fellow.

How do we even know anything happenend with op? It might be that op is one of the type that hate the homeless for cluttering up the street ala Rio. This is east dulwich, calm down dear, youre not in the village.

A potentially ill, homeless person out in the cold being treated the exact opposite of another homeless person. Why? Doesnt look like you, speak like you, wrong accent, working class,? and so not worth your true genuine altruistic expression.

I expect Laurel to pop in next

I'm not an intellectual heavyweight at all Grok.

But do you not think that the police picking this guy up and sorting him out could be the most positive outcome? No probably not, because that would take some thought.

You really are sad. Go and shoot your crossbow at something.

    • Just read this posting about the Blue Brick Cafe which I supported when they first applied to open. I Spoke out for them in front of three councillors because the council didn't want a cafe to continue there in a residential area. What a joy it has been seeing them there ever since and I though that it was the owner, Daniel, who had stopped putting the tables outside himself. Sorry to learn that it was Southwark Council putting a damper on things. I never noticed those table blocking the whole pavement and I live nearby and walk past regularly. One local, newly arrived resident in Fellbrigg Road tried the block the expansion of he North Cross Road street market some years ago - shame how some people have their own biased views. Sound like a bit of a situation up at the EDT though. Cheers!

    • As a regular buggy pusher I've found the people on the kerb to be nothing like louts or yobs, but actually very friendly people who move when they see you or realise you are trying to pass.  May I suggest a smile and a hello to engage with your neighbours rather than labelling them all louts
