Going to find your friends wherever they were, at home or in the park, without having to use a phone.

Drinking alone again Steveo? You should have got Jah round for a meeting

- in the 80s it would have been back from the pub at closing then wine out of tea mugs until the boozers reopened at 5.30pm or invited into a directors office for a 'large one' from the director's drinks cabinet.

Nowadays tedious time passing and clockwatching (i don't think many are working)....but at least we get 'dress down' Friday eh....

Malumbu - back in the day, we used to go straight into our friends homes it was a good thing and we were always made to feel welcome or plonk ourselves down and say who wants a cuppa and there was lots of laughter. On facebook and twitter nowadays who's to know if you were dead or not.

The paint has held up great - much better than before! Thank you Brian!

Also, I haven't looked at them, but from what you say,  the studies apparently asked people if THEY thought they were "racially prejudiced". For several  reasons, on the face of it that isn't likely to produce an accurate indication of the level of actual racial prejudice in that sample. Also, how was "racial prejudice" defined? And "racist attitudes"?
    • I'd say hold on to it in case you need it. There may be a time when it helps you get around more easily. You'd know if that's easily done, if you've got somewhere to park it etc
