Narnia
Thanks.........I'd been looking on the egg/steak threads without any luck. Forgot about the rice cooker. Will give it a go! Narnia
No getting much response so thought I spice up the subject name as removing mould doesn't cut it obviously! sophiesofa
Maybe try in Dulwich DIY shop for murdering products, they have some industrial cleaners in there. Sharon_H
Dettol mould and mildew remover should work or a bleach solution. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/9065-removingkilling-mould-on-internal-wall/#findComment-274244 Share on other sites
Townleygreen
The real question you should address is.... how did it get there? With all these things it is better to treat the cause not the symptom. It might be old and no longer active? Is it due to condensation? Is there any ventilation in the room? Like an air brick? All rooms need some ventilation, though people tend to block them up.I used to suffer from black mould in the bathroom, an uprated extractor fan has sorted the problem. PeckhamRose
You may need to treat the pointing on the outside wall. But once inside, make sure in future there's plenty of ventilation - and use NoMoreMould Spray which I think I got from the local DIY shop to clean it down with, and/or a bleach cleaner.
