Does anyone know the owner of an Audi AP60 DYW? It reversed into my car on Westwood Park on Saturday morning and didn't stop. Luckily someone saw it happen and has given me the details. they've caused damage to two panels on the side of my car. Really appreciate any info, or the owner getting in touch. Thanks

(a) report it to the police if you haven't already as this is a criminal not a civil offence

(b) It's just been taxed and MOTd so sounds legitimate (ie not a dodgy motor) - from the DVLA database

© If you are out of pocket and it cannot be traced claim from the motor issurance bureau (uninsured claims) https://www.mib.org.uk/making-a-claim/claiming-against-an-uninsured-driver/

Same for non-traced drivers.

From DVLA database

✔ Taxed Tax due: 01 February 2017

✔ MOT Expires: 05 February 2017

    • Many years ago, our neighbours were in a Southwark rented property. Both flats in house had access to a shared garden which was fenced off part way with each flat having their own piece of land. The front garden was shared and since both flats had young children, they put up a fence and gate between front door and pavement. Nothing was said by the council and even though those neighbours are now living else where, the fence and gate still remain and Southwark owns the freehold.
    • If you can use it exclusively for yourself for 12 years it might become yours by default under squatters rights? Maybe whack a bench on it and plant some flowers and then a little hedge around the perimeter to keep people out? I'm not sure if any of this is legal but it might be fun finding out?
