Hello,

I have lived in East Dulwich for several years and I am now at a stage where I would like to buy. I am looking for a 1 bedroom period property. Looking to spend up to ?280K. I have a mortgage in place and am chain free. 37 year old professional. I am aware that this may be difficult to find in this area. However, I have faith that there are still some people in this world who aren't just greedy but are reasonable and may have just the property for me to call my own.   Who is signing the petition? If they are real people, entitled to vote in the UK, guess what? Mainly Tory and Reform voters. Not really a surprise. And the opposition have not done themselves any favours with the new leader and others signing it. Move on, and come back in four years when we have the next GE.

  How would you have phrased the letter then? And what are these services they provide that "people pay for in droves that commercially justify keeping it open"? If keeping it open was commercially justified, then presumably they wouldn't be considering closing it. Have I misunderstood you?

  Non-tribal? James was an excellent councillor, but he was Lib Dem. Is that not "tribal", then? And what are your reasons for thinking the "Labour incumbents" are not sensible or committed? And what on earth has any of that got to do with locks?!
