Hi Jane,

Thank you for your kind words! Our first issue will come out on May 6th, which coincides with the start of this year's Dulwich Festival.

Like The Peckham Peculiar, we will be stocked by local shops, pubs, bars and cafes - we hope to have around 100 stockists (if not more!).

We'll make sure that we'll have an updated list of our stockists online (at http://dulwichdiverter.tumblr.com) - this information will be available from the weekend we come out.

Finally, a quick update on our crowdfunding...

So far, we've raised ?6,658 thanks to 98 generous backers! ?1,285 has come via the East Dulwich Forum so a huge thanks to all who've backed us! If you're interested in seeing what our plans for the newspaper are, please go to: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/peckhampeculiar/the-dulwich-diverter-a-free-local-community-newspa/

Many thanks,

Mark and Kate and all at The Dulwich Diverter

Hi all,

A quick update on The Dulwich Diverter...

We now have 117 backers (and almost ?1.3k of funding has come via the East Dulwich Forum) so a huge thanks to all who've backed us!

We've already reached our minimum target (and we've still got 30 days to go) so all of the additional money will be invested into increased circulation and/or helping produce future editions, and keeping the project alive throughout 2016 and beyond.

Hi everyone,

Issue one of The Dulwich Diverter officially launches on May 5th, but we've distributed a couple of hundred early copies this afternoon! You can pick them up at about 15 places across Dulwich, including Chener Books, Hop Burns & Black, The Palmerston, Roullier White and Rye Books.

Hope you enjoy reading it!

Kate, Mark and all at The Dulwich Diverter

I picked it up on Saturday and enjoyed it cover to cover, congratulations on a massive achievement.

There's room to be more provocative, creative, alternative and exploratory in the space outside the existing local free press and I hope you grow into that sort of direction.

Congratulations, good luck and keep it up please.

Hi all,

Thank you for all your comments - we appreciate all the feedback so please keep it coming!

Also, we've now delivered copies of the first issue of The Dulwich Diverter to more than 130 local businesses across East, West, North Dulwich and the Village, as well as Herne Hill and Forest Hill. You can find copies in all sorts of places, from barbers and bookshops to caf?s and pubs - the full list of stockists is available here:

Obviously we can't guarantee that all our stockists will still have copies, so please do check in advance to avoid a wasted journey.

We'll also be delivering more copies to our stockists next weekend, so if you?re a local business and would like to stock our free paper, please email [email protected] and we'll pop by.

Many thanks,

Hi all,

As you may know, we recently launched a free local community newspaper called The Dulwich Diverter. If you haven't read it yet, you can do so online here! http://tiny.cc/dulwich1

The paper has already received coverage in Time Out, the Londonist, Hold the Front Page and the Press Gazette. You can read the Time Out article here: http://tiny.cc/ddtimeout

It has been distributed to more than 130 stockists across SE21 and SE22. For the full list, please go to: http://tiny.cc/ddstockists

If you're a local resident or business with a news story or a feature idea - or you just want more info about the paper - please email [email protected].

Thanks very much!

    • I miss that cyclist chap that comments on everything
    • We have been patients at Sternhall Lane for years. Our experience has generally been incredibly positive with speedy responses and very helpful staff. We are generally fortunate to get a same day appointment should we really need one either at Sternhall Lane or at Tessa Jowell and any necessary referalls have been swift.
    • @Alice if left might have been stolen/taken by someone (peed on by a dog or fox), also there are some little things attached of - I assume - sentimental value. I hope the owner can claim them. Will leave a note indeed with info how to retrieve them, though not with a private phone number in a public space 😅 Maybe a friend of a friend will come across this post on EDF.  @embob97 They do have a ring, sorry.
    • Agree but not so great for the independently owned cafes shops etc.
