In the Bishop yesterday I noticed that 2 of the bar staff were sporting moustaches similar to those worn by the ghastly naff pair in one of those "118 etc" TV ads. These were male bar staff by the way, unfortunately there were no girlies serving at the time I was there (about 4pm - 4.30pm) so I was unable to check them for similar sproutings.

Anyhoo, you may be thinking "what's so unusual about a couple of blokes with moustaches?", but the other thing was that when I later happened to look up, and I swear I was only on my second pint of Budvar, I realised that the lampshades above the bar had also grown identical facial fungus.

Is this some sort of charity stunt, or done for a wager or what? Does anybody out there know? Should I just pretend I didn't see it?
