Well quite, so it was part of the negotiations resulting in the good friday agreement.

Had it not then come about, such bad faith almost certainly would have been a stumbling block in continued co-operation would it not?


But we definitely digress. As I said I don't think this is about Iraq per se, but about scrupulous governance.

In the light of some research om the good old web, I revise slightly my opinion on the value of Saville...I still think it was a waste of money, but I understand better why it was agreed to.


So I learned somethting new today, cheers MP.
