ndie Tots discos are BACK in 2016 at the Nines in Peckham (just behind the Bussey Building)! Join us for proper music, crafts, bubbles and dancing for 0-5s and their parents and carers for our daytime Sunday morning discos. The next discos are:

* Sunday 14th February (loosely a valentines special!)

* Sunday 20th March

* Sunday 10th April

Discos run 11am - 12.30pm each time...

Our music policy is on the indiepop side of indie, with genres including C86, motown, indiepop, sixties pop and post punk, with songs from the like of Jonathan Richman, The Who, Belle & Sebastian, The Supremes, The Field Mice, Neutral Milk Hotel and The Shangdi Las.

It's ?8 for one adult, ?14 for two and little people go free - slightly older siblings are also very welcome too, and if you're a class card holder, you can redeem a stamp per adult (but please do still book!)

We often sell out in advance, so early booking advised at http://www.nimbletots.co.uk/indie-tots-discos/

  • 1 month later...

Just two weeks to go until the next Nimble Indie Tots disco at the Nines in Peckham on February 14th! On our craft table there will be ample craft opportunities for adults (as well as children!) to create any last minute valentines cards, plus all our usual crafty bling!

We'll have have face painting back again, bubbles, disco lights and more! Ticket sales are going fairly quickly, so advance booking is recommended - I'll update on here if we do have any tickets available on the door on the day.

ALSO - update that the March date has MOVED from the 13th March to the 20th March due to an unforeseen date clash.

    • Malumbu, you were saying to posters on here "well where else will the money come from" and this highlights one of the major challenges for Labour. Take the very issue being discussed on health related benefit claims. When you look at the data on what has been happening it really shows what a problem it has become but, of course, a Labour government can't possibly attack that area in the same way they go after others - it's easy for Labour to attack the perceptual cruise-going pensioners, toffs at private school and (with less effectiveness) rich land owning farmers. Liz Kendall was on Laura K on Sunday and you could tell talking about the issue (which the government clearly have to deal with) was really difficult because what they are going to have to do is very un-Labour because the situation is out of control and they have to get on top of it.
    • and were people like you worried about "cutting hiring, prices going up and new business not starting" under the last govt or as a result of brexit I don't have labour blinkers - I didn't even vote labour at the election.  But do take a look at the data for that petition - and see how many actually come from UK
    • Take your labour blinkers off sir, Businesses are cutting hiring, prices will go up and new businesses won't start all as a result in the NI hike for employers  Talking down the country pre budget also knocked consumer confidence  Tomorrow labour are goung to announce getting young people into education or employment, yet with the above where will those jobs come from ?  The three people who sent the pertition to me are all small business owners who are taking the brunt of the changes introduced in the budget, one is even talking about closing as it impacts margins so heavily.  This is why people are unhappy. Labour hog tied themselves by promising no tax rises on working people and now the economy is suffering.  Take the red pill sir, not the blue one.
