Moving out of my place end of Jan in Herne Hill due to refurb, need a room in a quiet household in same or nearish area. My budget is ?400 plus bills. I am a p/t free lance writer/ theatre person/ film maker, workshop facilitator and also work at the bfi. Looking for a quietish though not anti social place, am vegetarian but don't demand that of others. Love pets. Am not looking to pay a massive deposit. Please email. thanks, verity

  I second that whole heartedly. Come the next local elections lots of Labour incumbents will be turfed out and it will pave the way for sensible, committed and non-tribal candidates to be selected.
