Narnia
We need to replace our Dell one and wondered what you would recommend for home use? Ideally with cheap(er) cartridges and wifi. Kodak have a campaign on currently highlighting how cheap their cartridges are but I don't know what the printer is like. Have read some reviews on a website and they went from one extreme to the other.Any suggestions please? red devil
Well Declan I can definitely recommend wifi, I work from home and it's great using my laptop in the study, lounge etc and not have to worry about connecting up cables. Mine's a HP and I have had no problems, it's also a scanner and fax. The cartridges are expensive, but I can charge these to clients so not a problem for me. I think HP have recently bought out some longer life cartridges to compete with Kodak... jaybee82
I'd second HP, nice and simple. Epson's are a beast to set up in my experience. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8791-all-in-one-printers/#findComment-267943 Share on other sites
SeanMacGabhann
If your printer doesn't have wifi, it will probably still be possible to locate it next to your wifi box and connect them via usb cables - then I can still print from any location my laptop is in Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8791-all-in-one-printers/#findComment-267946 Share on other sites
sophiesofa
I also have an HP one and it works well, is wifi and is nice and compact. Cartridges aren't cheap but if you don't do loads of printing it's not a big problem.
