Any post box collections beyond noon today?

All the post boxes say 12noon, I am sure there used to be later collections at certain post boxes on a saturday. Anyone know of any way I can get by christmas cards in the post today?!

My nearest postbox now displays a notice saying the only Saturday collection is 7am, with the single weekday collection being at 9am! When did that change and were we given any notice?
