Hi there all. There was a gang of teenagers hanging out on the path that runs from Sainsbury's to the cylce path that then runs to East Dulwich Grove. Time was between 7pm and half 7ish. They were attempting to mug people for their bikes and I believe that they tried it on with a number of people.

The good news is that the police have arrested some suspects on the basis of a witness' identification.

The point of this post is to encourage anybody who also encountered this buch of rancid scum to get in contact with the police and give as good a description as possible.

The more info they have the greater the chance of bringing these parasites to justice.

These lads also sometimes block the road into Abbotswood and just dare you to drive into them - spoiling for a scrap - seen it happen a number of times, luckily not happened to me. Dunno if I woul dhave the guts to simply plough into them at speed.
Possibly met this group last night just after 7 as I cycled up Green Dale towards C'Well. They kind've blocked the path but as I was travelling at speed they would've been stupid to get in my way. No way of giving descriptions since it was dark but there were roughly 5 in a mixed group. No way of knowing if they're connected to the reported incident and apart from trying to be intimidating they weren't doing anything illegal.

    • Well, quite. Just, for God's sake, don't mention tromboning/tromboner to the staff or band if you pop in for their Sunday lunch 'Jazz & Roast' experience. And probably best not to take the family with you first time. Just in case. Jazzer, you may want to think about changing your username in the light of all this. The English language can be a nightmare sometimes. Sue, I tried to post it as link, but it wouldn't allow me to. You're on your own, but the 'About Us/Our Story' sections are genuinely uplifting and I've not been bombarded with anything. I wouldn't recommend searching for 'tromboning' though.
    • "Jazz and Roast"   nice!
    • You can Google to find out how often you will be invited for breast screening. It depends on your age. Here you go:  https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/breast-screening-mammogram/when-youll-be-invited-and-who-should-go/ If you are over 71 you won't be automatically invited, but you can request a screening. It's all explained in the link above.
