I appreciate I went beyond the pale recently, and let a number of people down, exposing them to criticisms they didn't deserve.

I was both short-tempered and foolish. I was also foul-mouthed, which isn't really acceptable.

I'd like to apologise particularly to TLS and to Quids. TLS for allowing my irritation to sway my judgement, and to Quids for being a pompous ass.

I'm not sure whether it's good form to edit, but I'll go back and do it. I hope that for those that will see it for what I hope to achieve, that you won't chastise me for the effort.

Just to say "wot *Bob* said" (specially the bit in brackets)

Yeah & Mic mac.

W**F

there's only one thing worse than a pompous a**se....................

An apologetic pompous a**se...................>:D<

but I suppose if you have integrity when......................

(I was both short-tempered and foolish. I was also foul-mouthed, which isn't really acceptable.)

then thats ok.

:))

I was thinking Hugh Grant in his "long-delayed act of emotional honesty deep in the third act of the movie just before he wins the woman back" sincere mode, hand rummaging through his hair, blue shirt coming loose at the belt buckle. It may even be raining.

"Recently, I think I may have been the most awful pompous ass, and I do apologise - unresevedly. Did I say ass? I mean arse. No, I mean ass, like the donkey. Anyway, all that I am is just a man, standing in front of another man, asking him to forgive."

He'd have taken the whole EDF inner clique, *Bob*.

That's Mockney, ComesWithFries, TheNappyMan, SoiledPants and LuvDisaster.

That's a tasty crowd, right there. TLS would have had Tall Paul from the hardware store, Honest Eric from the dogs, Big Bi Bri from the Bexley outsize women's wear shop, and Dolly the Fat Controller from the cab office. And Quids holding the pistols.

Hard to call.

Ha ha. Yes. The two of us wouldn't make anyone quake in their boots.

One thing I've noticed. TOny milked any thread focussed on himself for

all it was worth, often posting heaps in a row himself.

I'm enjoying Huguenots dignified silence, there alone we have a comparative measure of the two men.

Next week, cock size...

    • Hello,  We have a couple of desk spaces available in our studio on Blackwater Street (just off Lordship Lane). The long desk space would be on the ground floor of the unit and shared with an Architect and 4 Landscape Designers. We are Architects and occupy the first floor level. There are 2 meeting rooms available, printer, kitchen, toilet etc. Photos are attached but please email [email protected] or call 07539039455 to arrange a viewing. Fixed desk rental is £300 / month. Daily rental can be discussed.  Thanks,  Nimi
    • Hello,  We have a desk space in our studio which is on Blackwater Street (just off Lordship Lane) SE22. It's a quiet space shared with another architect and a group of landscape designers. We are architects and on the first floor. There are a couple of meeting rooms available and a kitchen. Let me know if you'd like to arrange a viewing to hear more. For a fixed desk we would charge £300 / month + VAT. I've attached some photos but let me know if you'd like to arrange a visit.  Thanks,  Nimi
    • Better that it goes into  a brown bin where it will be processed into compost.
    • The thread was started because of uncollected trees being a potential  obstruction on pavements. They could be a problem for people in wheelchairs, with prams or with mobility issues.
