HELP re-homing a cat

Cheltenham

Recommended Posts

Please can anyone offer any help in rehoming one of our lovely cats, Oscar?

We got Oscar from Battersea Cats & Dogs Home in 2007 and he has been and continues to be a very loving and affectionate cat.

Oscar is struggling with the 'stress' of living in a household with two young children and both our vet and Batteersea Cats and Dogs Home have agreed that rehoming him somewhere with no children and no other pets would be best for him.

While we will be very sad to see him go we obviously want what is best for him. Our vet and Battersea are both assisting in helping us to find him a new home but it may be that someone out there may also be able to help.

Oscar is a 9 year old moggy - he is white and tabby. He is neutered, micro-chipped and fully vaccinated. He does not need a litter tray as he has access to the outside. He eats a dry pet food that is easy prepare (no mess). Oscar has never bitten or scratched anyone and he loves nothing more than a cuddle and lots of attention.

Please PM me if you are able to help at all.

Many thanks.

    • This photo does not show the lorry wearing the livery those which collect in our bit of Southwark wear, which suggests it was not a lorry in use on a Southwark contract, which might explain why the council appeared to have no knowledge of it. It could have been running empty which may mean it was top heavy and more vulnerable at any speed if cornering, even legal speeds if the corner was tight. No rubbish seems to have come out of it in the incident.
