Sue
Well the Brockwell Park fireworks were brill, and much better than I remember Crystal Palace being last year (and free, too!) but getting out of the Park afterwards was an absolute nightmare.I was so glad I didn't have kids with me, and amazed if noone got hurt.Total bottleneck at both tiny entrances at the Herne Hill side, with no pedestrian crossing at the main entrance (Railton Road end). People were trying to climb over the railings to get out, and apart from a few police etc at the actual exits, there was nobody apparently to give information about what was happening to the massive queues. Buses were rammed too, had to walk back to ED :)) Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8496-fireworks-displays/#findComment-260624 Share on other sites

SeanMacGabhann
Had you had a few last night Declan? The Latin is a common phrase, indicating even people you trust doing the same as everyone else - in this case Leagle starting (yet another) thread on fireworksMild joke admittedly - Asking admin to include a search function is another mild joke - ie there IS one already. Nowt to do with any "connection"Why is it mean for you to specifically as about slinking away? I used slink away becausea) "slink" is a great wordb) the whole post was a silly arc of a joke, with the "punchline" being the equivalent of "I'll get me coat"This place is getting way too serious Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8496-fireworks-displays/#findComment-260669 Share on other sites
