John Presscott (who I am a fan of) doing a programme on BBC now about north south divide. I hate programmes like this, they will just interview the usual type of people who will say "soft southerners", "northern monkey", and all that shite!

Same as Prezza's programme about class, it's all very outdated, which is his main problem. Shame because he is a good man, and very bright, but such a bloody relic from a time of class and unions, which frankly doesn't exist anymore (for better or worse).

What it comes down to is a Rich / Poor divide - you see this localised all over the country. North / South is just a lazy tabloid grabbing headline - but of course no one is interested to hear that Yorkshire snobs looks down on those in the London slums.

As for Prescott, I think he is more a rabble rouser than someone who was ever fit to lead.
