emc
HelloJust looking for quick bit of info before the forum shuts - I am paying my nanny on a monthly basis but am confused about how to work this out. I know that i will be paying her a net wage then sorting her tax and NI separately but how do i work out her monthly net sum? If, for ex, I was paying her ?200 per week net do I just set up a direct debit for 4 times that (i.e. four weeks)to get her monthly sum or do you do that thing of timing by 52 (for weeks) then dividing by 12 (for months)?Sorry, maths has never been my forte!Any help much appreciated. Mellors
Take the weekly amount, times by 52 and divide by 12 for the monthly sum.(if you do it 4 weekly you will find there are 13 4 week periods in a year).
