Louisa
Looks as though the next season will be the last. The Voice UK is switching over to ITV from 2017, and X Factor has felt stale for quite a few years now.Louisa. Otta
I haven't watched it at all for the past couple of years. I did get hooked by it for a couple of years but the people I like never win, and the winners soon disappear, it's all just such a waste of time. Seabag
I think in the 'history' of X Factor that Wagner was the begining of the end, gawd he was something elseBut like it or not, it has spawned a number of very successful actsOut of this lot, maybe Che Chesterman has the voiceOr Reggie and Bolli are the next big thing Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/84015-x-factor-2105/#findComment-929293 Share on other sites

Otta
To be honest I'm so out if touch with modern charts that I wouldn't have a clue if people from the last few years had gone on to do much.I have (thankfully never even heard a 1D song (as far as I know) but did catch 10 minutes of them on Jonathan Rose last night and thought they seemed like okay guys for the most part. Loz
Jeremy Wrote:-------------------------------------------------------> Weren't Girls Aloud and The Saturdays also spawned> from this ridiculous show?Nope. Girls Aloud was created by Pop Idol (so you're not far off). The Saturdays was a manufactured band, but nothing to do with a TV program (c.f. Take That, Spice Girls, etc). DulwichFox
Girls Aloud was an English-Irish[1] pop girl group, which was created through the ITV talent show Popstars: The Rivals in 2002 Foxy Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/84015-x-factor-2105/#findComment-930195 Share on other sites
