jctg
The block of flats where I live (in SE15) hasn't had any post since Wednesday, possibly Tuesday. There's meant to be a London-wide delivery strike today (according to the CWU website) but there shouldn't have been any other delivery strikes here this week. Has anybody else in SE15 received post in the last couple of days? Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8357-se15-post/ Share on other sites
reetpetite
Yes I've had post every day this week ,last week was a bit sporadic some coming through a week after posting but seems almost normal at the moment. My postman told me 2 weeks ago that they were still having one day strikes in our area. jctg
Thanks. I think that what's happened where I live is that as the regular postman is off this week there's nobody to do his walk, therefore it simply doesn't get done. PeckhamRose
Me and reetpetite live on the same block I think and indeed I also got post every day.Do go down and ask them though, Highshore Road off the other end of Rye Lane is where the sorting office is. SteveT
Sounds like they may be delivering from an ox cart. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8357-se15-post/#findComment-257485 Share on other sites
