SuOmynona
Our 14 yr old son is looking for new things to do at weekends (or evenings, homework permitting) and is keen to make more local friends as his school is some distance from SE22. Has anyone got any suggestions for clubs, etc? He'd be interested in joining a drama club, or maybe some sort of sports like tennis or badminton but isn't too keen on football. He's still good friends with a couple of people from primary school but doesn't seem to have made any really close friends at secondary school even after 3 years. He's friendly with people at school and quite outgoing but seems to lack confidence in asking to meet up with them out of school. He wants to broaden his circle of friends but it's hard to know how to help him without making it into a big issue for him.... Have any other parents got sons in a similar situation? Help!!! BettyLicious
Hi, I can highly recommend the North Dulwich Tennis Club on 154a East Dulwich Grove. They have a lot of activities and coaching going on for young people. The coach there is Peter and his number is 07776 130500 Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8334-advice-wanted-re-clubs-activities-for-14-year-old-boys/#findComment-263268 Share on other sites
