Insinkerator repair needed

Do I need a plumber, or an electrician?

Our Insinkerator food waste disposal has stopped working - has an air switch fitted which still works, but the unit just buzzes and doesn't operate. We have followed instructions to un-jam it, which has worked in the past, but not this time.

A few weeks of using food waste bags make me realise I miss it, so it would be great to get it fixed.

Recommendations/suggestions welcomed.

  There were 3 about an hour ago. I had thought the area around the lake over the low fence was a no dog area.

  The flood alleviation works have been completed. This thread is talking about large sections of the park being closed off for the setting up of the Gala festival. I am concerned at how much of the parks open areas ( sports fields and open fields opposite Harris boys) will be out of use by local people for quite a long time
