Moos
It was just so funny and entertaining to see an act who are really rather pants showing the po-faced "it's all about the talent" money-making, single-selling, somewhat soulless show up for what it really is.Actually, nuts to all that - it was just really funny. I liked the ghoul who fell over. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8278-x-factor/page/4/#findComment-261018 Share on other sites

karter
Jedward are entertaining to WATCH but can they sing? That's what this contest is about isn't it. Olly can sing and dance and my money is on him ok and Lucy. RosieH
Entirely believable - Cowell securing the media coverage, talkability and consequent viewing figures... Moos
What Rosie said. Another drippy (if talented) singer vs the act everyone's talking about? Easy choice for the man with his eye on the bottom line, and on clearing the way for his acts. ????
Agree, utterly predictable for wot Moos said. They're the new Chico. Link to comment https://www.eastdulwichforum.co.uk/topic/8278-x-factor/page/4/#findComment-261199 Share on other sites
Moos
Aargh, Chico! Don't remind me. I didn't even watch that series, and he annoyed me.I think I would actually quite enjoy the programme if we could only record it and fast-forward through all the spinning-out bits. TillieTrotter
Chico sprang to my mind tonight. Shocking of Simon, I thought he was more credible than that...silly me! daizie
Haha! I hope they're going to be the new pant and keck . What I dont get is why the judges always say they are shocked when their act is in the bottom two . Makes no sense to me . lpool
Got very annoyed by two-faceness of Simon Cowell tonight but in hindsight got to admit it was a smart business move to ensure loads of media coverage and the money keeps rolling in. Keef
Was actually starting to like Lucie, but never mind.Lets be honest, the show would lose something without Jedward. They won't win, but Lucie wouldn't have either, so why no point getting rid of the act that people are talking about, before you have to.I hope it comes down to all of Simon's acts, because it would be interesting to see him have to start chosing between them. *Bob*
Another victory for television there last night. Simon is certainly making hay while the sun shines with Leona. This is surely the programme that makes stars. As to whether she can go the distance and join fellow winners Steve Brookstein, Shayne Ward and Leon Jackson in the hall of fame.. well, only time will tell. Ollie was 'the man', yet again. He could go a long way, if he changes his hair. Currently it looks like he's been suspended by his ankles and had the top of his head skimmed across a large pot of Flora. Ladygooner
Isn't that what Sky Plus is for? I never watch it all - too many adverts and hype.
