Christmas lunch with kids

Can anyone recommend anywhere locally for lunch on Christmas Day?

Also looking to get away for 3-4 days after Christmas if anyone has any sweet suggestions of places great for adults and kids? Our son is 5. Probably UK but perhaps Europe.

We went to Berlin immediately after Christmas one year and that was great. Busy, everywhere open, Christmas markets still around (do check this), etc etc. Our 2 year old had a great time.

You can go skiing in Bulgaria. We had a great time in Bansko two years ago when our son was 5. There are ski lessons for little ones and you can have a lot of family fun in the snow. :) Not to mention how beautiful that place is. :) It was a great experience for all of us.

Old Nuns Head is open, and was excellent when we went there a couple of years back.

Telegraph by Telegraph Hill also open, and food there is v good generally.
